Mewsings from the food bowl (editorial)
Welcome to the CATLINES Blog! We finally moved over! From now on, rather than a monthly long ezine, I will post more frequently, but in smaller doses. I hope this will work out well for all of you subscribers. I appreciate those who have stuck with us through changes of various types in the past 4 years.
I will alert you when new posts have been made, but, hopefully, not too often.
thanks, and, again, welcome to our blog!
Our kitties have a new playroom on the balcony. Half is for them and half for us humans. Jaspur would rather come to the human side so he could get out. Oh dear! The last time he got out, he was yowling his head off with those huge bubble-like meows that envelop him and the area around him. It amazes me how such a small cat can come up with such a gigantic meow!
He was on the mat of the patio below us. Guess he'd figured out how to get out and down but not back up. He went limp when I touched him, allowing me to bring him back up home.
Jaspur has figured out the tub drains. If he steps on them, they'll go down, and dripping water will pool, thus making it easier for him to get a drink. He's just too smart!
Maryah was apparently not afraid of the fireworks around us; she was curious. She kept going from one window to another, checking them out.
Gabbie and Mickens are doing well. Gabbie is still our bobble-head cat, and likes to tuck me in at bedtime. Mikey keeps losing his collar, so we keep getting him a new one.
